Here are a few recent videos I shot of Michael.
This is new favorite pass time, talking on the phone. He loves to chat with his "Tita" (short for Abuelita, Grandma Rita). He loves to babble, press buttons, walk around and eventually hang up on her.

Gabrielle's 3rd Birthday
We celebrated Gabrielle's 3rd Birthday at Chuck E. Cheese's yesterday. The place was jam packed but everyone had a great time. It was Michael's first time there and he was in awe of all the lights, sounds and people. He did keep his distance when Chuck E. made his appearance, but it was to be expected. Here are some pictures of the beautiful birthday girl! Happy Birthday!!
I'm a blog slacker.
I've really slacked off with blog updates this year. I've realized the error of my ways and hope to keep you all much better informed on the comings and goings of the Montano's in 2009.
So what happened in January, you ask? Well, we did have a few things...
1/2 - Michael broke the solid wood coffee table door. Not sure how he managed it, considering I was sitting right in front of him. I chalk it up to many months of toddler wear. Then when he gently touched it, it fell apart. The look on his face was priceless, especially when he tried to "explain" what happened to Jaime. I swear if he could form complete sentences it would have sounded something like this, "Honestly dad, I didn't do it. It just fell off!"
Exhibit A:
1/8 - I joined Facebook, finally! Come look for me. :)
1/20 - Michael said he name! He normally just giggles or says "me" when I ask him his name. We were playing with his keyboard and microphone, he was yelling Mommy and I was saying Michael. I asked him to say Michael and he did!!! Well, it came out more like Mick-el, but it's a start.
Tune in next time....
