Regardless, the title quote is very true, this child is progressing by leaps and bounds...literally! In the past two weeks, Michael decided to teach himself how to walk down the steps (see pic). He is now climbing and enjoys jumping off of the sofa onto pillows he sets up on the floor. He is also is speaking in 3-5 word sentences! Examples include "Big truck go bye bye." and "Bless you, Mommy." when I sneeze. At 23 months we are also steadily moving into the terrible two's, so pray for Jaime and I. LOL

The force is strong in this one...
I had to give a shout out to Michael's cool Star Wars tee shirt. Jaime wishes he could have one just like it. LOL.

Happy Easter!
We hosted Easter at our house this year. We had a great time and the kids enjoyed an egg hunt in the backyard. I loved this and we are definitely doing this again next year.
2 Firsts - Meeting the Easter Bunny and Coloring/Dying Eggs
We had a fun filled Easter weekend. We were scheduled to go on an Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, but it rained pretty badly. We opted to go visit the Easter bunny, but Michael wanted no parts of him. It was pretty funny and he just kept repeating "No Bunny!" We did manage to take a couple funny pictures.
Later that afternoon (and after Michael's haircut, but that's another story), we decided to try coloring Easter eggs. Michael had a BLAST. He seriously loved it and did each step on his own including coloring the water, dipping the eggs and smashing them together. LOL! Anyone want egg salad??

Hanging with Abuelita and Papa
We hung out with Abuelita Rita and Papa last Sunday. Michael had a blast playing football with his great grandfather, watching Yo Gabba Gabba and making faces with his grandmom.
